I'm a bit late, but Caleb is 11 months old now! He's a fast-moving little guy. We never put locks on any cabinets or really did much child-proofing with Emily, but I think things will be different this time around. We don't have any growth stats since he doesn't have a check-up until next month, but here's a little snapshot of his life at this age:
Sleep - He goes to bed at 7pm, wakes to eat around 11pm, wakes again around 3am (at least I think that's accurate), eats again around 6:15am, goes back to sleep until somewhere around 7:20. He takes a short (45-60 min) morning nap around 9am and then a usually longer afternoon nap from about 1pm to just shy of 3pm.
Mobility - He's very comfortable cruising around and has become a well-practiced crawler. No attempts to walk yet, but he has done a bit of standing on his own when he's holding something with both hands and doesn't realize what he's doing.
Eating - He eats anything we give him (except for mashed potatoes). He's still nursing every 3-5 hours (depending on what the schedule is like for the day).
Likes - He really enjoys being read to (assuming we read one of his four favorite books), opening drawers & cabinets, exploring the bathroom whenever possible, playing with magnetic letters on the fridge, swimming (and baths, of course) and knocking down towers of blocks.
